I was watching Juno with Jan, and she was going off on her rant about how she thinks true love isn’t out there. It made me think of my mom and dad. They were married 26 years. They had their share of problems, fights, and arguments, but they always stayed together. My dad told me when my mom died, “I was never bored of her. For 26 years, she was never boring to me. I realize now, that I have known true love in my life.” That gave me hope, that people can really spend their entire life together and be happy. I want that same kind of love my mom and dad had, and I’ve realized I’ve found it.
